Missed out or can’t make it? No worries, here are your options for reselling or transferring your ticket safely:

Moshtix Resale

Log into your Moshtix account and use the resale tool to generate a unique link. Share it with someone you know or post it online, whoever has access to the link can buy the ticket directly from you. Once purchased, the ticket moves to their account, a new barcode is generated, and your old one is cancelled. You’ll then receive a refund (minus service fees).

Tixel

Tixel is a secure resale platform where you can safely list your ticket for sale. If your ticket sells, Tixel processes your payout directly. Once sold, you’ll need to transfer the ticket to your buyer using the Ticket Assign feature in Moshtix (see instructions below). If you need help with Tixel, please get in touch via tixel.com/help

Moshtix Assign

If your mate has already paid you to grab them a ticket or you sold your ticket through Tixel, use the Assign tool to transfer the ticket straight to them. Log into your Moshtix account, go to ‘Manage My Tickets’, and select the ticket(s) you’d like to assign. A shareable link will be generated to send to the other attendee and once accepted by them the transfer will be complete. PDF tickets are not available, so Ticket Assign is the only way to transfer tickets.

Moshtix Ticket Return (only available once your location is sold out)

If you can’t find a buyer yourself and your location is sold out, you can return your ticket to Moshtix. We’ll list it for sale on your behalf, and if it sells, you’ll receive a refund (minus service fees).

Tickets will be sent out closer to the event date to help avoid fake tickets being generated and sold. When you purchase, you should still receive your order confirmation to your email, but if you haven’t got that, head to your Moshtix account and select ‘Help with this order’.

If you need to buy or sell a ticket after the general release is sold out, you can do so through Moshtix or Tixel’s resale tools.

Selling tickets through any third-party website, including Viagogo, Facebook, Gumtree, and eBay, goes against the Strummingbird ticket T&Cs. We recommend against buying tickets from the above third-party platforms as there’s no guarantee or way to validate that they’re legit.

Strummingbird staff and security cannot accept illegitimate and invalid tickets.

If you hold a valid National Companion Card and purchase a General Admission ticket to Strummingbird, you will receive a complimentary ticket for your companion or carer. You’ll need to purchase the paid ticket to the event through Moshtix as usual and then follow the below steps: 

1. Once your order is confirmed, go into your Moshtix account, under Manage My Tickets and select ‘Get Help With This Order’
2. On the help form, follow the prompts for accessibility and companion card
   • Select ‘I’d like help with my order’ as the category, and for the Topic, select ‘I need help with accessibility or a companion card’. For the subtopic, select ‘I need help booking with a companion card’
3. In the message section, please provide your Companion Card number and Expiry.
4. Once verified, Moshtix will issue a complimentary Companion Card ticket to match the paid ticket to the email used for your original purchase.

Moshtix is the official and only ticketing outlet for Strummingbird 2026 and Tixel can be trusted for resale tickets. If you see Strummingbird tickets being sold anywhere else, there is no way for us to validate them. We highly recommend creating a Moshtix account before tickets go on sale, so you can keep track of confirmations and save yourself time when buying tickets.
