Swing by Staples Bagels in South Fremantle. Their chicken Caesar bagel is a total knockout, it’s got crispy chicken, fresh greens, and creamy Caesar dressing all tucked into a toasted bagel.
CARRINGTON’S BAR & GRILL
A local pub with yummy food and cold drinks, Carrington’s is the top pick if you’re after something easy and satisfying. You’ve gotta try their steak sambo, which has won many awards.
FRANK’S BAR-B-Q
After the festival winds down, head to Franks smokehouse to grab a real Texas BBQ feed. The ribs and brisket are the perfect way to keep the country vibes going.
THE LEFT BANK
Riverside pub has top-notch food and even better views. The chicken parmy’s a fan favourite and the pizzas are perfect for sharing (or not).
AUTHENTIC BITES
Tiny spot, huge flavour! The xiao long bao are legendary and the wontons? Downright UNREAL. Expect a line out the door, cause it’s that good.

ROTTNEST ISLAND DAY TRIP
Say g’day to the happiest little legends around, the QUOKKAS! Rottnest Island is a slice of paradise. You can pedal around the best beaches, and snorkel in crystal clear water.
FREMANTLE COASTAL WALK
The coastal walk is a perfect way to take in some fresh air while soaking up the cracker views. Stroll along the coastline, and enjoy the vibes. And maybe even swing by a local spot for some coffee or a craft beer along the way.
SERPENTINE FALLS
Serpentine Falls is your go to if you’re after a nature escape that’s easy to get to, but feels far from the city. Wander through the forest and cool off with a swim in the natural rock pools underneath the waterfalls.

Need a cackle? The comedy club’s got ya covered! They have many local comedians and it’s a great way to have a chuckle and catch a show.
SCITECH
Swing by Scitech, it’s packed with hands-on exhibits, live shows, and workshops for all ages to enjoy.
ART GALLERY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA
While you’re in town, make a stop at the Art Gallery of WA. It’s packed with stunning works from local legends and international artists, including some incredible First Nations art.

This southern style bar in the heart of Freo brings the fun. It’s got live music, American eats, and you can even join in for a cheeky line dance.
GAGE ROADS BREW CO.
This waterfront brewery offers house brewed beers, fresh seafood, and coastal charm. They have a big ol’ beer garden, and live music.

This New Orleans inspired bar in south Freo has all the neon and jazz you could ask for, with a piano you can play if you know how. No kitchen here, but don’t worry – you can order burgers from Big Rigz next door straight to your table.
